Good question! As far as the blog is concerned, I have barely scratched the surface of publishing the immense collection of recipes. You can look forward to more punch recipes, menus, and party planning ideas from the 50s and 60s. I haven't even started to post all the individual bar drinks, partially because they don't interest me, but I plan to stay true to the plan. I have to admit when I started this mission, I had no idea what blogging was.  Now everytime I log in and see a comment waiting to be moderated, or if I have a new follower I get this excitement, like I have just won a prize! I once lost a follower and I felt sorrow, never knowing the reason why. Needless to say what started out as just a bunch of recipes has morphed into kind of a living thing.
it's morphin time!
So to start this new year here is a blast from the past!

Elegant, exciting, festive as the season, here's a joyful NEW dessert idea that lets the hostess stay at the table and share in the fun. A show off dessert in the gourmet tradition of Cherries jubilee and Crepes Suzette...but easier, so much easier!
Hot cling peaches in a chafing dishe will make a fabulous addition to your holiday meals!
Arrange cling peaches in a chafing dish or sauce pan with their own syrup. Yes, do heat them. Heating really brings out the very special half tangy, half sweet flavor of cling peaches. And you can always count on cling peaches to hold their shape and sunny color. Offer a choice of toppings and garnishes. The possibilities are endless.
Whipped cream sweetened and flavored to taste
Cinnamon sour cream:
1 cup sour cream
2 tbs sugar
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/8 tsp nutmeg
chopped candied ginger
toasted coconut
slivered almonds
grated orange rind
chopped dates

Hi 1-2 Punch! I'm so impressed at how many punch recipes there are out there. Who knew?? I'm really brushing up on my domestic skills and hope to serve up a good punch recipe at our next gathering (whenever that might be) Thanks for your work here. :)
