Invite your ghouls and gobblins in for a nice hot cup of
MULLED CIDER!
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 tsp salt
2 quarts cider
1 tsp whole all spice
1 tsp whole cloves
2 inches cinnamon sticks
dash nutmeg
In large heavy pot combine brown sugar, salt and cider. Put spices in metal tea ball or muslin bag, add to cider. Slowly bring to boil. cover and simmer 20 minutes. Remove spices. Serve hot. Add a cinnamon stick for a stirrer.
YIELD; 10 servings
