IT'S ELECTION TIME

Yes its that time of year again and I'm so glad at least some of our city has a sense of humor. Check out this  election sign. I kept seeing it on my way to work and thought to myself I'm voting for Mushroom Gnocchi, just because I like his name. It wasn't until the sign disappeared and I saw it in front of one of my favorite restaurants that I figured it out. Way to go Ferrantes!
I couldn't find a GNOCCHI recipe to post but found this instead! Enjoy and happy voting!
ZABAGLIONI
6 egg yokes
6 tbs of granulated sugar
a few grains of salt
6 tbs California Sherry
combine egg yolks, sugar and salt in the upper part of a cold double boiler. beat with rotary beater until thick and lemon colored. Gradually beat in Sherry. Place over hot (not boiling) water and beat with a rotary beater until thick and fluffy (about 4-6minutes) remove from heat and serve immediately over ice cream in sherbet glass. Serves 4-6
