CUCUMBER TOMATO COCKTAIL
2- 1/2 cups tomato juice
1 large cucumber
2 tbs diced onion
2 tbs celery leaves
2 tbs parsley leaves
1 tbs lemon juice
1/8-tsp tobasco sauce
place all ingredients into blender, blend until smooth. Pour over ice cubes in a large glass or pitcher. Makes 4 eight ounce servings: 40 calories
APPLE ORANGE FROST
12 ice cubes
1/2 cup mandarin oranges with syrup
2tbs nonfat dry milk
1 cup apple juice
1/2 tsp vanilla
put ice cubes, mandarin oranges, and syrup in blender, blend until smooth. Add remaining ingredients. Blend on high speed for 30 seconds. Makes 4 eight ounce servings: 60 calories

The tomato cocktail sounds to me pretty much like an Andalusian gazpacho, but that you eat it with a spoon :-)
You should try it. My favorite starter for lunch in summer. One can add small pieces of bread to it, and it becomes a sort of cold bread soup. Wonderful.
