A BRIEF HISTORY OF SHERRY

There were wines in Andalusia in Roman times and probably much before. The earliest written record of Sherry dates back to 31 BC. (WOW)
Spanish Sherries are the true Sherries. Like Cognac which is produced only in the Cognac district...and like authentic Champagne which is produced only in the Champagne region in France....true Sherry comes from the Jerez district of Spain. The early English buyers of the Wine of Jerez unable to give the word its Spanish pronunciation, called it at first..."Jerries"...and eventually..."Sherry"

ANDALUZ
Deliciously simple..
2 ounces of Primero Amontillado "Medium" Sherry to a glass of orange juice with ice. Stir and serve.

I love sherry. Thank you for the recipe. Things that are simple can be the most genius.
