POUSSE CAFE

A series of most interesting drinks...!

POUSSE CAFE

translates pushes on the coffee...is a drink that is served after dinner which consist of one liquour floating on another.






To get this result pour very gently over the back of a spoon, so as to not disturb the surface tension of one layer while adding the next. Use cordials you like, heaviest to lightest.







Usually as follows: from bottom to top, grenadine, creme de menthe, dark creme de cacao, Cointreau, Benedictine, and Cognac.
