Today I found a punch recipe in my mom's handwriting within this massive collection...so mom you were in on it too...hmmm very interesting!
MISSIONARYS DOWNFALL
1 1/2 cup sugar
juice of three lemons
2 fifths bourbon
2 quarts club soda/chilled
1/2 cup grenadine
2 sliced oranges
combine and stir sugar and lemon juice
stir in bourbon and club soda slowly, then add granadine and pour into ice filled punchbowl, float orange slices on top. note:more soda can be added to your taste.
YIELDS:32 servings

I don't think that is Mom's handwriting. I have several handwriten recipes, and her writing is a little different.
